His love from our home to the care home was perfectly managed; with care, consideration for his feelings and the least amount of stress. The Adelaide may not be as shiny and new as purpose-built homes, but we couldn't have asked for a better team or level of care for my dad. I have power of attorney for my friend who has dementia, we have moved him from another nursing home as we weren't happy with the way he has been looked after. He has only been in Adelaide since Jan 15th, his weight has increased and he looks so much happier. The staff here are amazing he is always up and dressed looking clean and sitting in the lounge. Whereas in another home he was in bed all the time. He was losing weight every week! When you enter Adelaide it feels so homely and relaxed and all the staff we have met are very caring when there is a problem they phone us and it's nice when you arrive to be asked if would you like a drink.
